With this victory, Japan’s ambitions to advance further in this tournament must be stopped. Thailand is now waiting for opponents in the final between China, the host team and Iran. The fight between China and Iran will take place on Saturday night at 19.00 WIB.
This victory not only took Thailand to the final, but also secured their ticket to the 2027 World Cup, an achievement they have maintained since 2010. Meanwhile, in their previous meeting in the group phase, China showed a brilliant performance, while Iran had to fight hard to eliminate Indonesia from the quarter-finals.
On the other hand, the Indonesian women’s national volleyball team had to settle for fifth place after being beaten by Iran with a score of 1-3. Even though they managed to steal the first set with a score of 25-19, the Red and White squad had to give up the next three sets with scores of 16-25, 12-25 and 17-25. The enthusiasm and struggle of the Indonesian retainers is still worthy of praise even though their steps have to be stopped.
