Italian League News: Como officially released two players at once, Alvaro Morata to Leganes and Ignace Van der Brempt to Sassuolo, as part of streamlining the squad.
Como need to streamline their squad ahead of the close of the summer transfer window. Striker Alvaro Morata has officially joined Spanish club Leganes on a loan scheme with a purchase option at the end of the season.
A number of sources including Sky Sport Italia and Sportitalia also confirmed the agreement to release Ignace Van der Brempt to Sassuolo.
This transfer takes the form of a loan with an obligation to purchase at the end of the season, with a total package worth 6.5 million euros. Sassuolo previously also pursued Rafik Belghali from Hellas Verona, but the player is now more inclined towards Torino.
The move of these two players is part of Como’s strategy to make room for new players coming in, including Milan midfielder Samuele Ricci, who today arrived to undergo a medical test.
Apart from that, I Lariani is also trying to complete the transfer process for Samuele Ricci, and is targeting Moise Kean from Fiorentina.
Cesc Fabregas’ club has reportedly reached a verbal agreement to bring in the Italian national team striker with a package worth 40 million Euros, consisting of a loan fee of 10 million Euros and a permanent purchase obligation of 25 million Euros plus a bonus of 5 million Euros.
Kean himself is said to have done various things to speed up the transfer, including arriving late and missing a training session at Fiorentina.
