Transfer News: In the midst of limited time, Barcelona is racing to determine Alejandro Balde’s future.
This Spanish national team player is considered no longer needed this season and is widely rumored to be leaving Camp Nou. Recently, AC Milan emerged as one of the potential suitors for Balde, whose performance has continued to decline in the last 12 months.
However, a surprising report from Diario SPORT now reveals that Milan’s arch rivals, Inter Milan, are in talks to recruit Alejandro Balde.
The report states that Inter and Barcelona are currently negotiating a player exchange agreement.
This swap deal involves Alejandro Balde and Federico Dimarco, Inter wing-backs who have shown outstanding form in recent years.
Even though Balde does not want to leave Barcelona and is determined to stay, Deco is working with Inter to reach an exchange agreement.
From the start, a deal between Barcelona and Inter at this late stage in the transfer market seemed very unlikely to materialize.
However, if the deal materializes, Dimarco could be an attractive option for Barcelona.
This Italian international player recorded seven goals and 18 assists in Serie A last season and has extensive experience.
Dimarco could be an excellent alternative to Joao Cancelo in the left-back position, even though this position is currently occupied by the talented player, Xavi Espart.
Dimarco also occasionally plays further forward and can provide a capable cover for Barcelona on the left side, making him an ideal choice for the *Blaugrana*.
However, the news regarding talks between Inter and Barcelona should be treated with caution, especially considering the fact that Dimarco has long been considered a player that Inter will not let go of thanks to his brilliant performance in recent years.
