Premier League News: Tottenham Hotspur manager, Roberto De Zerbi, reveals the reason why Richarlison, Kevin Danso and Pape Matar Sarr were absent from the match against Newcastle United.
Tottenham received another negative result on matchday 2 of the Premier League this season. The reason is, when they hosted Newcastle United at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, Saturday (29/8) evening WIB, The Lilywhites suffered defeat with a score of 2-0. “Richarlison, I don’t know. He has said too often that he wants to leave. Danso came to me two days ago and said he wanted to leave, as did Pape Sarr. He has a minor injury, but is almost ready to train,” said De Zerbi as quoted on the club’s official website.
“Savio is another tough player who didn’t play. After the press conference (on Friday), the medical staff came to me to tell me that Savio wasn’t feeling well, there was a small muscle problem – maybe Monday or Tuesday he could start playing with us, but the medical staff didn’t want to take any risks with him, especially as he hasn’t worked or trained in the last 15 days with Man City.”
