Volleyball News: The competitive atmosphere is getting hotter ahead of the 2026 AVC Men’s Volleyball Cup which will be held in Ahmedabad, India. The Indonesian men’s national volleyball team is preparing to play their first match in this prestigious event on Sunday, June 21 2026.
In this tournament, Indonesia is in Pool B, joining strong teams such as South Korea, Qatar, Thailand and Oman. Initially, Pakistan, which was scheduled to be part of Pool B, was forced to withdraw and was replaced by Turkmenistan. Unfortunately, this replacement team also decided not to participate.
In order to overcome the heated competition, the Indonesian squad consisting of 14 reliable retainers is ready to fight. Several big names such as Boy Arnez Arabi and Farhan Halim are the focus on the front lines, while the coaching position is occupied by Reidel Toiran who is serving as caretaker, while waiting for the completion of Sergio Veloso’s administration.

- Friday, June 26, 2026: The closing match of the group phase will be against Oman at 19.30 WIB.
