Volleyball News – The U-18 Indonesian Women’s National Volleyball Team had to settle for competing for third place after failing to advance to the final of the 23rd Est Cola ‘Princess Cup’ in 2026. Srikandi Garuda Muda was eliminated after narrowly losing 2-3 to Vietnam in a fierce match which took place on Saturday (27/6/2026) afternoon.
At Terminal 21 Korat, Nakhon Ratchasima Province, Thailand, a decisive moment will be held for the Indonesian women’s team when they face the Philippines in the bronze medal match, Sunday (28/6/2026). The Philippines previously had to admit the superiority of the host, Thailand, in the semifinals.
Arimbi Syifana’s team has shown intense struggle in the preliminary phase by recording two wins against Australia and Hong Kong. However, they suffered a crushing 0-3 defeat to Thailand before narrowly losing in the semifinals against Vietnam.
