Jerome Anthony Beane Jr. led Indonesia in scoring with 14 points, plus nine rebounds, four assists and four steals. Yudha Saputera contributed 12 points, four assists and three rebounds. Meanwhile, Dame Diagne recorded a double-double of 11 points and 11 rebounds.
With this result, Indonesia is in second place in the Group C standings with a 1-1 record. However, this position is not completely safe, because on Sunday night (30/8), Malaysia faced Singapore. If Malaysia wins against Singapore, then Indonesia will have to fight it out with the home team, on Monday (31/8) to secure a ticket to Round 2
