Volleyball News – The Indonesian women’s national volleyball team is preparing to face a tough test in the final group stage match of the 2026 AVC Women’s Volleyball Continental Championship. In a duel which will be held on Wednesday (26/8/2026) at the Tianjin Olympic Center Gymnasium, China, the Indonesian squad will face the Australian volleyball team in a crucial match which is known as a match of life and death.
Thailand appeared dominant in the group matches, forcing their opponents to compete fiercely for tickets to the next round. Indonesia is currently in third place in Pool B, just behind Thailand who is leading and Kazakhstan who is runner-up. Even though they have the same points as Kazakhstan, the Indonesian national team is behind in terms of the difference in winning points.
However, opportunities are still wide open for Indonesia. With a win in this final match, the opportunity to overtake Kazakhstan is quite big, considering that they have finished all their group matches. On the other hand, Australia came into this match without having picked up a single point from their previous two matches, having suffered defeats to Thailand and Kazakhstan.
This match will determine Indonesia’s fate in this prestigious Asian level tournament, and victory is a fixed price to be able to continue to the next phase. It’s time for Indonesian volleyball players to show their best performance and secure this important victory.
