Ligaolahraga.com –

IBL Basketball News: Rajawali Medan has announced that veteran player Andrian Danny Christianto has officially hung up his boots.

On September 30 2025, the Rajawali team announced Andrian’s contract extension. He also played for the Rajawali team in the 2026 IBL season. However, only for two games, with an average of 1.5 points and 1.5 rebounds per game. It turned out that it was his last contract extension, and Andrian decided to retire.

“Since Rajawali Medan was founded, the name Andrian Danny Christianto has been part of the foundation of this club. Sweat, hard work and full dedication have been poured in to oversee the journey from the earliest point to today.

Now, it’s time to end a beautiful chapter on the field. Thank you, Danny, for every sweat, and leadership spirit that has inspired us all.

Happy Retirement, Legend! Fly high, Danny!” wrote the Rajawali team, as a farewell message to Andrian.

Andrian started his career in the IBL with Prawira in the 2021 season. At that time, Prawira was coached by the late Andre Yuwadi. It turns out that Andrian was also brought to Bogor, when Coach Andre managed the Evos Thunder club. And, of course, when the club was acquired by Rajawali, Andrian also came to Medan.

Andrian’s peak performance occurred in the 2023 season, with Evos, with a contribution of 7.1 points, 2.5 rebounds, 2.1 assists and 1.6 steals per game. But that doesn’t mean that in Rawajali he experienced a decline. In fact, Andrian plays a big role in defense, especially when he is played from the bench. Andrian’s consistency paid off in the 2025 season, when he was trusted by Coach Njoo Lie Fan to appear 20 times in 26 matches.
